Optimum Ranch is a proudly South African business within the meat processing and supply industry. We are a 100 % black owned business and a level 1 BBBEE contributor. Optimum Ranch has been in business since 2014 and recently moved to our new factory in Muldersdrift – a picturesque farm area situated between Johannesburg and the Magaliesberg mountain range.

The business was started with a with a vision of supplying meat to small scale retail customers and has grown to include supplying wholesale customers with large scale quantities. We always endeavor to building lasting relationships and add value to our customers. As a family run business, we uphold our values and pride ourselves on high-quality standards.

We pride ourselves on the unique relationships we build with our clients who we partner with across a wide range of industries to supply them with the highest quality meat from our own processing and packaging facility which we deliver to each door. Our meat is sourced from accredited abattoirs, and we offer a selection of A-grade cuts to suit our customers specifications.

We are focused on building a sustainable brand within the local South African meat market.

We provide meat products for small scale for households, retail customers as well as wholesale customers with large scale quantities. Our products include specific cuts of beef, lamb, chicken, pork and a limited offering of seafood. We are also your boutique butcher and can provide you with specific requests like wagyu beef, game meat, biltong, dry aged cuts, special cuts, braai catering including spit braai, smoked meat and many more.

The business is run by a husband-and-wife duo who manage and oversee its operations. We are supported by a skilled team of butchers who ensure that quality for each client is prioritized. Every care and attention to detail possible is taken to comply with South African Standards regarding Food Safety and Food Hygiene as prescribed by the Department of Health and also the Department of Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries.

All our employees have been trained in Food Safety and are fully aware of the importance of the hygiene requirements to ensure that we achieve our customer’s goal of consistent high quality standards.

Our mission is to consistently provide uncompromised high-quality products to our customers.

Our strategy to grow our business over the next three to five years which will enable us to get access into the larger market and go head-to-head with large competitors in the industry. We pride ourselves through;
